The Edge Sports Training, now offering a Novice program at The Montague Wellness Centre. All hockey players novice age can learn basic skating and puck handling skills.

Equipment Drive
The Edge sports Training and KidSport encourage you to drop off any used summer or winter sports equipment at selected locations across PEI in support of KidSport. Please, take the time to donate any baseball, soccer, cycling, raquet sports, hockey, ringette equipment, and your name will be entered for two tickets for the Dallas stars inter-squad game.

The Edge Sports Training
Early Birds

Cira Lord, (Charlottetown), Jeremy Ramsey, (Marshfield) and Alex (Charlottetown) are kicking of the summer with The Edge Sports Training by promoting early morning active and healthy living.
The semi-private baseball lessons have energized youth by starting at 6:00am to 7:00am. The Edge Sports Training started the program in preparation for their baseball program.

The latest any of the surveyed executives wake up is 6 a.m., and almost 80 percent wake up at 5:30 or earlier. More than 70 percent of the business leaders in a survey perform their exercise in the morning,while 15 percent find a way to do it during the day.
Positive youth development
Numerous definitions of optimal youth development have emerged among researchers suggest that optimal development in youth ‘enables individuals to lead a healthy, satisfying, and productive life as youth, and later as adults, because they gain the competence to earn a living,

It has been suggested that through optimal development, ‘good youth’ emerge. ‘Good youth’ are said to experience more positive than negative effect, to be satisfied with their life as it has been lived, to recognize what they do well and use their strengths to fulfill pursuits, and to be contributing members of society.
